From January 2010 until April 2010, I was living, taking classes, and interning in London through Boston University’s study abroad program. My internship was with the Financial Times Weekend Magazine, where I had the opportunity to research and write approximately ten short articles.
A day in the life of an editorial intern:
Note: At the FT, all editorial interns write a blog post about their experiences at the newspaper/magazine.
“How Modern Britain Spends its Sundays” (published April 3, 2010)
“Defining moment: William Mumler markets paranormal photography, March 1861” (published April 24, 2010)
“First Person: Geoffrey Kelly” (published July 17, 2010)
Note: I wrote this one when I returned to Boston. It’s about the FBI agent who’s investigating the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist.
